Position:         Performance and Accountability Data Clerk (District)

 

Supervisor:    Assistant Director of Performance and Accountability

 

General Job Description:  The Performance and Accountability Data Clerk will support district systems and initiatives including but not limited to STARS, PowerSchool and Yellowfolder, in an effort to strengthen and provide information in a timely manner.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist in collection, entry, organization, analysis and accuracy of data.
  • Maintain data and records as requested
  • Utilize technology in the performance of job duties, including Excel for data entry, spreadsheet functions, and chart building
  • Respect the requirement of confidentiality for students and families
  • Participate in trainings as required and/or recommended for personal growth or to support the current job assignment
  • Work cooperatively with school and district personnel and P&A staff
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently
  • Demonstrate a positive and supportive attitude toward staff, students and parents
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrate the ability to work productively in a variety of flexible settings
  • Demonstrate good judgment and the ability to follow directions
  • Follow school and district requirements regarding work hours and punctuality
  • Accept other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary

 

Qualifications:  High School diploma or equivalent, knowledge in basic office procedures, computer functions, data entry

 

Physical Requirements: Sitting, standing, lifting and carrying (up to 50 pounds), reaching, squatting, kneeling, prolonged typing, physical ability to type on a keyboard terminal, and moving light furniture may be required.

 

Equipment/Technology Handled: Must know how to properly operate or be willing to learn to operate all multimedia equipment including current technology. 

 

Work Environment: Must be able to work within various degrees of noise, temperature, and air quality. Interruptions of work are routine. Flexibility and patience are required. Must be self-motivated and able to complete job assignment without direct supervision. 

 

Terms of Employment: Salary and work calendar established yearly by the district.
